Our web application utilizes YouTube API Services to generate your custom channel audit. By connecting your YouTube channel, you are agreeing to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.

Disclosure of Google API Usage: Our application accesses your data through Google APIs. Our use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

3. The Data We Collect

• YouTube Analytics Data: We request the yt-analytics.readonly and youtube.readonly scopes. This allows us to temporarily read view counts, subscriber data, view duration, traffic sources, and device types to accurately calculate your score.
• Personal Information: We independently ask you to provide your Full Name and Email address prior to running an audit.
• Authentication Data: We hold secure OAuth access tokens used strictly to run your audit during your active session.

4. How We Use Your Data

We strictly use the read-only YouTube Analytics data to mathematically calculate your channel's performance score, find areas of improvement, and generate your Custom Growth Plan.

Your manually provided Name and Email are securely transmitted to our internal CRM (GoHighLevel) strictly to email you your growth plan results and follow-up resources.

5. Sharing, Transfer, and Disclosure of Google User Data

We do not sell, rent, or trade your Google user data or YouTube Analytics information to any third parties.

We do not transfer or disclose your Google user data to third parties for purposes other than those explicitly described in this Privacy Policy. The only limited data transfer we perform is securely transmitting your manually provided Name and Email address (not your YouTube Analytics data) to our internal CRM system (GoHighLevel) used exclusively to deliver your personalized growth plan report.

We do not share, sell, or use Google user data for advertising, remarketing, or any commercial purposes beyond the explicit functionality of this application.

6. Data Protection and Security

We take the protection of your personal data seriously. The following security measures are in place:

• Encryption in Transit: All data transmitted between your browser, our servers, and the Google APIs is encrypted using industry-standard TLS (HTTPS) protocols.
• Encrypted Token Storage: Your Google OAuth access tokens are encrypted using AES-256 encryption before being stored in our secure database (Supabase). They are decrypted only at the moment an audit is performed.
• Read-Only API Access: Our application is hard-coded to only request read-only permissions. We are technically incapable of posting, editing, deleting, or modifying anything on your YouTube channel.
• Minimal Data Collection: We only request and store the minimum data required to deliver the channel audit functionality.
• Access Controls: Access to our database and infrastructure is restricted to authorized personnel only, using role-based access controls.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

We store your personal information for a period of time that is consistent with our business purposes of delivering and improving the Channel Junkies Grader service.

• OAuth Access Tokens: Your Google OAuth access tokens are retained only for as long as necessary to provide the service. You can invalidate these tokens at any time by revoking access via your Google Security Settings page.
• Audit Report Data: Your historical channel audit score reports are retained in our secure database to allow you to track progress over time. We retain this data for the duration of your active use of the application.
• Personal Information: Your Name and Email address are retained for the duration of your use of the service to enable communication of your growth plan results.
• Data Deletion Requests: You may request the permanent deletion of all your personal data and audit history stored in our system at any time by contacting our support team. Upon a verified deletion request, we will permanently delete your data from our systems within 30 days.
• Account Inactivity: We will retain your personal information for the length of time needed to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. After a period of prolonged inactivity, we may delete inactive account data.

8. Revoking Access

You retain absolute control over your Google Account data at all times. You can revoke our application's access to your YouTube account at any time via your Google Security Settings page. Revoking access will immediately prevent our application from accessing any further YouTube Analytics data for your account.
